In 2009 FoodHandler launched a line of Compostable PLA (Polylactic Acid) plant-based gloves and bags.

The Conserve brand product line was met with limited response due to a number of factors at that time.

In 2019, with a stronger presence of environmental product solutions in foodservice, more favorable material costs, and wider 
availability of composting facilities, we are reviewing the possibility of launching a new line of PLA gloves and other products.
