Sustainable, Comfortable Cup Optimizes Storage and Transportation
FoodHandler Inc., a leading developer and supplier of high-quality food safety solutions, will introduce ThermoLite™ double-wall hot cups during the National Restaurant Association Show May 16-19 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Ill.
Proprietary ThermoLite™ technology bands expand in the air space between the cup’s inner and outer walls to enhance strength and provide the best insulation in a paper cup. The cup contains a minimum of 25% post-consumer fiber and has a 100% recycled outer wall. Environmentally conscious consumers will appreciate that the cup is sustainable and doesn’t need an extra sleeve to make it cool enough to hold.
The cup nests efficiently, creating optimized case packs that are less expensive to store and transport than traditional beaded foam cups. Keeping inventory is simpler with one raised black sip-thru lid for the 12-, 16- and 20-oz. cup sizes. A matched 24-oz. cup and lid set is also available. The cup comes in a stock print or may be custom printed with design assistance from FoodHandler.
“We are pleased to offer another innovative product to help our customers operate more safely and efficiently,” said FoodHandler Product Manager Barbara Hodges. “ThermoLite™ technology allows our customers to ‘do more with less’ as they upgrade their hot beverage carry-out offering to meet growing consumer demand.”
